Creating a relaxing, beautiful living space is really important to me, so I spent a lot of time curating every last detail of our home. Here’s a breakdown of my favorite decor finds that make our house feel homey and chic at the same time.
Side Bedroom
A stylish side table lamp is a must-have for me. I prefer those with either a stylish twist or adjustable brightness for optimal reading conditions.
If you’re framing neutral art, I suggest going with a thin, high-contrast frame like black or brown. I also like to add a white mat, which makes the whole thing feel airier.
For our bedding, we layered in lighter tones with deeper, richer ones for a cozy vibe. A fuzzy throw blanket completes the look.
Living Room
A wooden coffee table like this one is a piece you’ll love for years and years. I like rounder shapes over square ones for a softer mood.
Instead of leaving empty space next to our media console, I added some distressed vases to make the room look more complete.
I love this chair! It’s classic and comfortable, and the swivel feature is a great touch.
Entryway
I’m a firm believer that your entryway helps set the tone for your entire home, so don’t overlook this. Add a textured table lamp in a shape that’s simple but also makes a statement.
Finding the right rug can be really tricky, especially online, and especially with so many options out there! Here’s one of my favorites for a vintage-meets-modern vibe.
Remember that this space is perfect for incorporating seasonal decor throughout the year, without it taking over your entire home.
Kitchen
We spend a lot of time in our kitchen, so I knew I wanted the aesthetic to feel inviting, fresh and clean.
For any corners of our kitchen that felt a little too empty, I filled in details like this small vase and a stack of pretty cookbooks (here’s a good one!).
