I will absolutely come back again! There’s still so much to see that 6 days didn’t feel like enough. If I were to do it all over again I would say that 10 days is a minimum for both a combination of the beach and jungle resorts.

Arrival Day – Four Seasons Jimbaran Bay

We arrived around 9pm so our only activity was enjoying a welcome drink at our hotel before attempting to get some sleep.

Day 2 – Uluwatu

  • Ulu BGS or Baked – very good coffee options.
  • Uluwatu shops – lots of independently owned small shops with many items crafted in Bali
  • Pantai Suluban – serene beach that is much more private than Padang Beach.
  • Mana or Istana – for extroverts, Mana is a great cliffside pool + restaurant option, for introverts I suggest Istana (a phoneless cliffside wellness center with facilities like cold plunges, saunas, etc.)
  • Ritual – the most striking sunset in Bali, reserve a chair on the cliff in advance.
  • M Mason – lively dinner spot known for some of the best food in Bali and nearby nightlife.

Day 3 – Day Trip to Komodo

  • Flight to Komodo Airport – we woke at 6am to catch an 8am flight.
  • Rinca Island – took a small private boat to Rinca Island to walk the national park and see Komodo Dragons in their natural habitat, alongside buffalo, dear, and other animals.
  • Strawberry Rock – great spot for unique photos atop a multicolored façade, only accessible by boat.
  • White Sand Beach – offers a short but intense vertical hike to get a panoramic view of the islands around Komodo, beautiful white sand beach and clear water makes for great photos.

Day 4 – Taxi to Four Seasons at Sayan

  • Drive to Ubud – took around 2 hours and wasn’t an overly bumpy experience.
  • Four Seasons Sayan – one of the most stunning resorts we’ve ever been too and a whole experience unto itself.
  • Sacred Monkey Sanctuary – a temple in the jungle that houses macaque monkeys.
  • Dinner at Riverside – a western themed restaurant on the Sayan river in the Four Seasons.

Day 5 – Ubud

  • Ubud Market – immerse yourself in the local culture with temples, street food, and art.
  • Tegenungan Waterfall – good afternoon hangout spot, especially if you are in need of cooling off.
  • Nusantara Night at Four Seasons – offered on Tuesday only, the evening begins with 30 minutes of traditional Balinese dance followed by a huge buffet incorporating the best that Balinese food has to offer.

Day 6 – Rafting and Spa

  • Ceking Rice Terrace – if you want to satisfy your curiosity about how rice is grown, this is a must see spot. It offers unique views as well.
  • White Water Rafting – for the more adventurous, the river through Sayan is well sought after for white water rafting.
  • Sacred River Spa – we spent around 3 hours at this spa, beginning with a steam and sauna session followed by the Batu Kali ritual (easily a 10/10) and a foot scrub with massage to top it all off. I am not exaggerating when I say I was reborn after this.

Day 7 – Departure Day

I will absolutely come back again! There’s still so much to see that 6 days didn’t feel like enough. If I were to do it all over again I would say that 10 days is a minimum for both a combination of the beach and jungle resorts.
